You thought I forgot, but here's the cinetrix's--patent pending! patent pending!--Movie Minutes sartorial update.
First off, in the past two weeks, A.O. Scott appears to have arrived at a camera angle that works for him. It's not dead-on, but it's a pretty oblique three-quarter view. He keeps his chin up, which makes me think someone told him he might look jowly otherwise. I confess a fondness for the hand-talking, especially now that he's not so fidgety otherwise.
Scott really should stick with the button-down shirt/white tee look he exhibits here in a jaunty yellow-white combo. The devil's in the details, we see, because this more denimy-looking peach-colored shirt just misses, I suspect because of its button-down collar.
And consider a closer-cropped haircut during these humid summer months or invest in some hair-tamping products.
