When the cinetrix went to the premiere of Me and You and Everyone We Know this past Wednesday, she did not know about the IFC Center's regrettable decision not to employ union projectionists, nor about the union's subsequent action. There was no picket line that night, and while ignorance is no excuse, I do hope everyone who visits Pullquote knows how I revere professional projection. It is, as they say, a difference maker, and an increasingly rare thing in this age of multiplexes and platters. I hope the involved parties can arrive at a mutually agreeable understanding.
To sum up, the cinetrix: not a picket-line crosser.
