Built by Wendy's Wendy Mullin seems to have Agnes B.-style aspirations. Her site hosts the short above, which features cinematographer Harris Savides and his daughter, Sophie, who is sporting the Built by Wendy Filmstrip dress. [Confession: I coveted it something fierce and then, tragically, it did not hang right on my frame once I actually got to try it on.] It also promises two more films, including one short co-directed by Gia Coppola, who I'm guessing must be the daughter of Gian-Carlo Coppola, who drowned in 1986, leaving behind his pregnant girlfriend. It will be interesting to see whether she's inherited the family filmmaking chops.
