The textbook the cinetrix works with does a nice job of explaining the 180-degree rule using this sequence, where Marlowe meets with General Sternwood in the greenhouse. Of course, it means the following dialogue rabbits around my brain the whole time:

Which then leads me, naturally, to the wisdom of Ren: "You know what the Big Sleep is, Stimpy. It's death." Owen Taylor would agree.
