OK, cinephages. The 'Fesser's oenophile pal Addison has a problem, and only we can help. To wit:
Please ask [the cinetrix] the following (yes I know it's vague and annoying and frustrating, but just try living in my brain): Early 90s video rental from TLA Video in Philly. I believe the movie's origin was E Europe, but who knows. Split screen, 6 or 9 still cameras, all shown simultaneously (like Hollywood Squares, sort of). Action moves into one frame then appears in another. Objects in motion include old man in raincoat (or maybe I am channeling Tati), little boy chasing ball, green (?) bus. It is mesmerizing. I have called TLA and asked (kids these days), and have tried a couple of other routes. But it strikes me that she might know. CINETRIX YOU'RE MY LAST HOPE.
So what is it?
