The cinetrix had been meaning to riff on Dave Kehr's recent post blowing up the "widespread assumption that 'every movie ever made is available on the internet.'" Then she tried to turn on her Roku box for the first time since a summer away and nothing, nada, zilch. Since then, new AAA batteries have been acquired and installed, the reset button has been pushed, the power cord adapter has been switched out, and still no gleaming little light graces the stubborn box's facade. It was a hand-me-down from the early-tech-adopter brother, so it's probably first gen. Fix? Or pitch? [Have I mentioned the DVD player gave up the ghost this spring?]
To fill the yawning expanses of time, how about we play a little game of I'll show you mine if you show me yours? In general, I use my Netflix queues as massive notes to self about films I read reviews of/want to revisit, etc. But then there are the "saved" titles, huddling at the bottom of the page, no release date known. Look at the poor dears.
So, what's on yours?
